SemiChaotic is the illegitimate child of a tag cloud and a surreal poem.
I gather coverage from major news sources to figure out what the most common words are for a particular story. The four most common words are displayed to represent the story. Five words seemed too descriptive and three words seemed too short.
The most important news articles are displayed first in the link block and the ranking diminishes as you read through the "paragraph".
It's an intriguing way to see the world news of the day at a glance. It's been interesting for me to see how much homogeneity there is in the press as to what is important to report on and the commonality of language and approach.
Anyways SemiChaotic is a pretty abstract way to look at the news but I hope at least some of you find it worthwhile.
